LABELCRAFT PRODUCTS LTD. DEVELOPS FIRST ZERO WASTE LASER SHEET

Pickering, Ontario, Canada Labelcraft Products Ltd. is proud to debut its new Zero Waste / Eco-friendly Laser Sheet made with 100% PCW for both the Face stock and the liner. The Recyclable EnviroLiner is the first label liner made of 100% recycled material and can be recycled in local recycling facilities.

Traditionally, label release liners have not been recyclable because they are coated with large amounts of silicone. However, after many years of research and development, Labelcraft has overcome this issue. Because the Recyclable EnviroLiner is made of 100% recycled paper, it also reduces the environmental impact on forestry, water consumption, electrical usage, landfill waste and, ultimately, our carbon footprint. The Recyclable Enviroliner can be used in many label formats, including laser sheets, direct thermal and thermal transfer printer labels, as well as custom roll labels printed on gloss and film.

The Recyclable EnviroLiner is a testament to Labelcraft’s total commitment to sustainability and environmental preservation. While the label industry has traditionally not been a sustainability leader, the Recyclable EnviroLiner is a critical turning point. In North America, it is estimated that nearly 1,200,000 tons of liner are dumped into landfills annually. The Recyclable EnviroLiner is the first product that will allow suppliers and customers to work toward 100% landfill-free facilities.
